‘Tis the Season for Champagne Salad!

It is finally time for one of my favorite recipes used at Christmas… the Champagne Salad! I think I love it so much because of how Flexipan can turn such a simple recipe into a beautiful and fabulous dessert! Make sure you add this to your menu at your next holiday party!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces cleaned, sliced and slightly crushed fresh strawberries with juice or 8 ounces     frozen strawberries
  • 1 medium can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 bananas, diced
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 8 ounces whipped topping (whipped heavy whipping cream or cool whip)

WHAT TO DO:

  1. Place Flexipan® Mold or Tray of choice on Medium Perforated Baking Sheet and set aside.(In the above photo we used the Star Mold, which is no longer available, as well as the Christmas Tree Tray. The recipe looks great in ANY mold!)
  2. In a Mixing Bowl combine cream cheese and sugar together. Add strawberries, drained pineapple, bananas and pecans.
  3. Add whipped cream or cool whip. Mix together and scoop into the Mold or Tray. Freeze completely.
  4. Unmold onto serving plate and decorate with berries and fresh mint leaves.
